BOY BADLY INJURED.
Kenneth Butler, a fourteen year old boy residing with his parents at 301 Woodham Road, received severe injuries to his right eye and chest when he was spattered with boiling lead yesterday afternoon. He was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital, but his condition is not serious. Butler, it is stated, was boiling lead for the purpose of making a fishing line sinker. The lead spattered out of its container and over the boy.
