Mrs Basil Whitcombe, Merivale, is on a visit to Wellington. Mrs George Macdonald, Lowry Hills, is on holiday at Gore Bay. Miss Kura Smith is the guest of Miss Betty Trewin, Oaro. * Mrs E. R. Webb and Misses Betty and Claire Webb, Murray Place, are on holiday at Hanmer Springs. Sister Moor§, Grey River Hospital, will return to the Coast from Christchurch on Tuesday. Mrs M. M’Leod, Knowles Street, will return to Christchurch on Tuesday from the south. Mrs R. E. McDougall and her daughter, Mrs J. Ferrier, are on holiday at “ Brookdale,” North Canterbury. Mrs Ivan Seay will shortly join them. Miss Betty Kiver, Papanui Road, who has returned from a visit to the Franz Josef Glacier, will leave next week for Wellington. Mrs A. Brustad, Fendalton, who returns to-day from Stonyhurst, North Canterbury, will leave next week on a visit to the Mount Cook district. Mrs A. Mason, Wellington, has returned home, after spending the holidays with her sister, Mrs Ballagh, Cashmere. Colonel E. Turton and Mrs Turton, England, who have been on a visit to the Coast, will return to Christchurch this evening. Major E. Puttick, D. 5.0., and Mrs Puttick, Auckland, have taken the house of Mrs A. W. Lane, Rossall Street, for the duration of their stay in Christchurch. Mrs Frank Mills, North Auckland, and Mr and Mrs W. L. Moore, Wellington, arrived this morning on a visit to Mr and Mrs W*alter Moore, Fendalton, who will celebrate their golden wedding to-morrow.
