Radio Man Fights Flames in Plane. United Press Assn.—-By Eleetrlo Telegraph—Copyright. (Received January 14, 2.30 p.m.) AMIENS, January 13. Six English passengers had a thrilling experience when a French Union air liner ignited in mid-air. The wireless operator fought the flames with a chemical extinguisher till a safe landing was made in a field, after which the plane was consuzfled. Nobody was injtired.
