A meeting of the Linwood School Committee was presided over by Mr C. R. Mackie. It was decided to appoint Mr R. Chaney, Buckley’s Road, to the position of caretaker. Further arrangements were made in regard to the school picnic to be held at Rangiora on Friday, February 10, 500 scholars and adults being provided for. The school will reopen on .Wednesday, February 1.
