HEAVY EARTHQUAKE.
Cuban Population Spend Night In Open.
United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received January 14, 3.45 p.m.) SANTIAGO (Cuba), January 13. A short, intense earthquake to-day caused great alarm. Slight damage was done. The inhabitants, fearful of a recurrence of the earthquake which practically destroyed the city last February, are spending the night in the open spaces around the city.
