WILL STAY IN LONDON.
Mr Bruce Not to Leave until He Has Fixed Loans. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received January 13, 1.15 p.m.) LONDON, January 12. It has been stated in Australia that Mr Bruce’s stay in London will depend on whether the World Economic Conference is held in the first half of 1933 or not. The United Press Association learns that this will not now influence him. Unless there are unexpected political developments in Australia, Mr Bruce is certain to stay until the negotiations for the conversion loans are complete. As the ban on issues has been only partially relaxed in favour of certain municipal issues, Mr Bruce’s operations will take longer than was originally expected and this delay complicates Mr Bruce’s negotiations and reduces the time available for Mr Bruce for handling the New South Wales £9,000,000 loan, which is due for repa3’ment on July 1.
