MANSION FOR 5/-.
Bargain Buyer Rejects All Offers. GLASGOW, December 12. Offers to buy the mansion at Paisley formerly owned by a member of the Coats cotton firm have been rejected by Mrs Reid, who recently purchased it for ss. Two offers were by contractors who said they would demolish the building and erect a modern villa free. Another suggestion was that a film should be made of Mrs Reid parading the ground, and another that she should dispose of the property for racehorse-training or dog-breeding.
