TEMUKA ROAD RACE.
(Special to the ** Star.”) TEMUKA, December 16. A road race was held last evening over a course of twenty-six miles. Result:— X. Heron (ljraln), 71min 34sec .... 1 A. Higinbottom (3min), 73min 2sec 2 Z. Metcalf (Uniin)* 71min 36sec 3 Heron secured fastest time. E. BTaylor and Willmott both started from scratch. The latter met with a mishap ana did not complete the course.
