Keen Contests at Sydenham Club’s Meeting. A meeting for club members was held on Thursday evening. Entries were good and all events were keenly contested. Results: Shot Put—K. Brown 1, G. C. Gordon 2, I). Brown 3. Fifteen competed. Distance—34ft Sin. Dong Jump—R. Brown 1, C. S. Barrel! 2, D. Brown 3. Thirteen competed. Distance—l7ft 7Jn. Javelin Throw—K. Brown 1, G. G. Gordon 2, D. Brown 3. Fourteen competed. Distance—l3Bft Sin. Healed handicaps held in conjunction with the above events resulted as follows: Shot—G. C. Gordon 1, D. Brown 2, R. Downlft 3. Dong Jump—R. Brown 1, D. M’Ewin 2, D. Brown 3. Javelin—A. Mitchell 1, W. Wilson 2, K. Brown 3.
