PRINCE AT BIARRITZ.
Magnificent Cars and Large Suites. BIARRITZ, October 20. The magnificent cars and enormous suites of the Sultan of Morocco, with his little son, and of the Maharajah of , Rajpipla, following so closely on the j visit of the Prince of Wales and Prince i George, have aroused much interest.^ ! “ Come and dine, and bring twelve j friends with you,” said the Maharajah ] to an Englishman friend the other day. ' The Englishman pointed out that thir- | teen was an unlucky number. ‘Bring twenty friends! ” said the Maharajah immediately. All these distinguished visitors have had the effect of prolonging the summer season. The Prince of Wales, by his patronage. has enormously increased the popularity of the Brick Top, though that was hardly necessary, since it is the one and only dance haunt in Biarritz. It has a stone floor, a wonderful negro band, and looks out upon the sea.
