RELIEF WORKERS.
Arrangements for Sports Carnival. The relief workers’ sports carnival to be held on Labour Day at Lin wood Park should prove a great success. The committee have arranged plenty of sports and fun for old and young, and are expecting a large attendance. All the funds received will be set aside to give the City Council relief workers’ children Christmas cheer. The closing dates for the tug-of-war, wood-chop-ping and sawing entries are advertised
