RAILWAY NOTICES. gumisisßL GERALDINE RACES AT ORARI. 22ND AND 24TH SEPTEMBER TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS. TTSUAL 11.36 am. train for Ashbur- ; ton will leave Timaru 10.30 a.m. i and arrive Ashburton 2.20 p.m. On Thursday, 22nd September, special horse train leaves Christchurch 7.0 a.m., arrives Orari 10.0 a.m. Takes horses in UG wagons and passengers travelling with them from Christchurch, Sockburn, Templeton and Ashburton. On Saturday, 24th September, the usual 4.56 p.m. Timaru-Ashburton train will leave Orari 6.25 p.m., Ashburton arrive 7.33 p.m., connecting with special train leaving Ashburton 7.45 p.m. and arriving Christchurch 9.24 p.m. These trains will convey horses in UG wagons and will stop where required to set down passengers and put off horses.
