OUTDOOR DRAMA.
Drama, thrills and romance are contained in “ The Painted Desert ”, a Western featuring William Boyd, Clark Gable, Helen Twelvetrees, William Farnum and J. Farrell MacDonald, which is being shown at the Grand Theatre. The story of “ The Painted Desert ” concerns a feud between two old Arizona pioneers, and the romance of their children. Ninety per cent of the picture was filmed in -the desert land of Arizona. In addition, another chapter of the serial, “ The Air Mail Mystery,” is being screened.
