WORK ON FARMS.
Five Boys Placed in Two Days.
Farmers in Canterbury- .districts, by* providing work for boys, are helping to relieve the juvenile unemployment problem. During the past two days positions on farms have been filled by five boys through the efforts of the Boys’ Unemployment Committee and. the co-operation of farmers. Mr H. P. Donald, honorary organiser for the committee, ; aid this morning that the boys were keen to get work in the country, having found no avenue of employment in the city. The committee also appre-
ciated the assistance of fanners. Some of them had gone to the length of creating positions for the boys on their farms. ‘Many other farmers were helping the committee in its work.
