MISSING FLYER.
Body Found in Trawler’s Nets. ATTACHED TO PARACHUTE. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received August 2, 9.25 a.m.) LONDON, August 1. The headiest and decomposed body of an airman, presumably British, was found in the nets of a trawler operating between Scotland and the Hebrides. The only mark of identification was a trouser tab bearing the label, “Goode’s Officers’ Stores, Portsmouth.” The body, which was still attached to a parachute, is thought possibly to be that of some missing trans-Atlantic flyer. _
