Wellington (New Zealand) were second on that occasion, with a total of 3919, and Sussex third with 3904. Canterbury were unlucky in that' three men dropped 19 points among them. ■ As the teams are allowed to shoot in Great Britain and Canada up to September 30. the final result will not be known for some time. The match in Christchurch was well organised and reflected great credit on the selection committee, coaches and offieJunlor Notes. The meeting of the two leading teams in the junior grade created a great deal of interest. The match resulted in a draw, both teams scoring 545 each. Burwood, however, still lead by one point in the championship table. Both teams have yet to meet in a further round, so a great deal of interest is still retained in this competition. T. O.
