NEW CANADIAN PARTY.
CALGARY, July 31. The Commonwealth Federation of the Farmer-Labour-Socialist Party came into existence to-day at the session oi the western conference of Labour political parties. The purpose of the new body is the establishment in Canada of a co-opera-tive Commonwealth in which production, distribution and exchange shall be regulated to supply the human needs, not for profit.
