Awarded a Cap
(Special to the “ Star.”) AUCKLAND, August 2. An anonymous League supporter decided on Saturday to present a cap to the best New Zealand forward. He made the selection and-chose J. Calder, the West Coast player. Accommodation for Test. Seating for 10,000 persons will be provided at Monica Park on the occasion of the second League test match on August 13. A report to this effect was made at the meeting of the Canterbury Rugby League last evening. Temporary accommodation on the cinder track used for broadsiding will be necessitated. It is estimated that a further 5000 persons can find standing room, making accommodation in all for 15,000.
