ST BEDE’S BALL.

Old Boys’ Association Annual Reunion. MANY EX-PUPILS GATHER. Man}- ex-pupils of St Bede’s College gathered last night at the Winter Garden when the Old Boys’ Association held its ninth annual ball. With their friends they spent a happy evening in re-establishing old friendships and recounting school-day escapades. Loyal to the college and its activities, many old pupils came from outlying districts, including Little River, Ashburton and Rangiora, and one and all acclaimed the ball a great success. Father A. L. Burger, S.M., rector of St Bede’s, and Father B. Blake, S.M., an ex-pupil, were among the guests. Music was supplied by the Bailey-Marston Orchestra and novelties added merriment to the programme.
