MAX SCHMELING’S PLANS.
(“ Star” Radio.) (Received August 1, 12.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, July 30 Max Schmeling will return from Germany on August 24, according to his manager, Joe Jacobs, home to-day from Europe. Jacobs said he had received offers for Schmeling to fight here, in Chicago and Detroit. It was indicated that Schmeling will probably fight in New York this autumn with Mickey Walker.
