Gene Gerrard lias the part of L ncle Bartholomew, n radio anrouncer, and Tommy Tucker, a romantic girl who lived a Cinderella existence in a great mansion, fell violentlv m love with his voice. When eventually she meets her hero it is to find that he is engaged to her jazz-mad sister, though he is not really in love with her. Tommy and the carefree radio announcer soon become fast friends, but the engagement is an obstacle. Gene Gerrard’s frantic efforts to break the engagement in order that he can declare his love for Tommy are most amusing and provide ample scope for his great ability as a comedian.
