“ Gun Smoke ” and “ Heads Up ” for Liberty.

To-night will witness the final screening at the Liberty Theatre of •• The Beast of the City ” and " West of Broadway.” The new double bill at the Liberty Theatre to-morrow will be headed by a Paramount Western, "Gun Smoke,” featuring Richard Arlen and Mary Brian. Also on the

hill will he Charles Rogers’s latest picture, • Heads Up,” a musical comedy. The action of “ Cun Smoke ” takes place in a little horse and cattle trading centre in Idaho. Arlen has the role of a cowho>» who makes n living by rounding up riding stock from the ownerless horses that roam the wild regions thereabout. Into this untroubled

In tins Paramount production Rogers, as' a youthful graduate of the Coast Guard Academy, is sent aboard a private vacht whose captain is suspected of having dealings with rum-runners. Aboard the vessel Rogers becomes acquainted with the daughter of the owner, and there are a number of thrilling episodes, and humorous ones, before the picture reaches a satisfactory conclusion.
