A letter has been received by the Mayor (Mr D. G. Sullivan, M.P.) from twenty-two men at the North Rakaia River Trust’s camp, in the Southbridge district, asking him to make an appeal for a battery wireless set for the camp. The men state that they are cut off from Southbridge towmship by nine miles and have to cross the Rakaia River twice to get there from their camp.
