ATHLETICS.
Coming Cross-Country Championship. Recently the Harrier Sub-Committee of the Canterbury Amateur Athletic ('entre decided that men with chances of selection in the Canterbury team for the New Zealand cross-country championship should run together each Saturday with a view to improving their team work and their form. The following team has now been selected and will run to-morrow with the Baptist Club, from the residence of Mr and Mrs K. G. Archer, Eastern Terrace, Beckenham: —R. M. Barrel* (Christchurch. captain), A. D. Park (Baptist). G. H. Watson (Christchurch). C. S. Ell < Methodist), L. C. Fulford (Baptist), H. O Savage (Anglican), A. P. Thomson (Varsity), J. D. Pascoe (Christchurch), G. P. Harrison (Baptist).
