SIMBA AGAIN.
Cannot Race at Sydney Ponies. (Received June 29, 10.40 a.m.) SYDNEY, June 29. The New Zealand racehorse Simba is again being featured in the news here. On June 23 he was presented for measurement and registration by the Associated Racing Clubs with a view to racing at metropolitan “ pony ” (unregistered) fixtures. It is now announced that Simba will not be allowed to race at these meetings. The Associated Racing Clubs have decided not to register him. No report on the matter has been issued by the Board of Management, but the secretary (Mr Underhill) stated that the gelding had not been registered.
