Some Hard Fought Games in Paris. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received June 3,2 p.m.) PARIS, June 2. In the tennis championship quarterfinals of the singles, Lee defeated Lacoste 6-2, 6-4, 4-6, 7-5. Cochet beat Hughes 6-4, 6-3, 4-6, 6-4. In the semi-finals of the ladies’ singles Mrs Wills Moody beat Miss Krahwinkel (Germany) 6-3, 10-8. Lee accomplished one of the best feats of his career in beating Lacoste. Both played a similar game.
