United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. KOVNO, May 17. Following a six-years’ investigation the trial has been held of the former Premier of Lithuania, M. Vytautas Petrulias, who was accused of defalcations while in office. He was sentenced to eighteen months’ imprisonment and ordered to pay £2050. He was alleged to have received money from traffickers in alcohol, also for import licenses for cigarettes and yeast.
