KRISHNAMURTI.
World Teacher Not Coming to New Zealand. News has been received by friends of Krishnamurti, the world teacher of spiritual ideals, that his projected visit to New Zealand and Australia has been indefinitely postponed. He is still carrying on his work as a teacher from California, and it is understood that in the not distant future he will visit India, the country of his birth. Krishnamurti was educated as a Theosophist, and became the head of the Order of the Star, but as the result of religious experiences through which he passed a few years ago he dissolved the Order, and has since been carrying on his work as an unfettered teacher on international lines. Part of his education was received in Sydney, and followers of his teaching in Australia and New* Zealand have been hoping for some few years to bring about a visit to these countries. Their invitation may be accepted at a later date.
