United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. DARWIN, May 18. Diligent search for the overdue fly ing-boat proved unavailing. Vessels are keeping a sharp lookout.
Considerable anxiety is felt for the safety of a young German aviator Hans Bertram, who left Koepang at midnight on Sunday in a Junkers flying-boat, to cross the Timor Sea, according to wireless reports from Darwin, where he has not arrived. Herr Bertram, who is on his way from Hong Kong to Australia, was expected at Darwin yesterday.
