A Cabinet representing both the United Australia Party and the United Country Party in Victoria has been formed by Sir Stanley Argyle, leader of the United Australia Party, as fol- , lows: Sir Stanley Argyle (U.A.P.), Premier, Treasurer and Minister of Health. Mr lan Macfarlan (U.A.P.), Chief Secretary. Mr R. G. Menzies (U.A.P.), SolicitorGeneral and Minister of Railways. Mr John Allan (C.P.), Minister of Agriculture. Mr A. Dunstan (C.P.), Minister of Lands and Forests. Mr J. Pennington (U.A.P.), Minister of Education. Mr J. Jones (U.A.P.), Minister of Works and Mines. Senator G. Goudie, Minister of Water Supply and Labour. The election figures are not yet complete but the Labour Attorney-General, Mr W. Slater, has been definitely defeated.
