Miss Esther James, who is on a walking tour of the Dominion as an advocate of the use of New Zealand-made goods, reached Timaru to-day. This morning the Mayor of Christchurch (Mr D. G. Sullivan, M.PJ received a letter from Miss James, written at Temuka, in which she expressed her thanks for the consideration shown to her while she was in the city.
