MANY EGGS STOLEN.
Thieves Make Raid at Mount Albert. (Special to the - Star.”) AUCKLAND, May 19. Eggs totalling 153 dozen and valued at £l6 were stolen from the premises of the Auckland Poultry Producers’ Association, at Mount Albert. The eggs were taken on two different occasions, the first in a lot of 80 dozen, and the next in a lot of 70 dozen. The eggs were laid by birds entered in the competition, and the lots were packed ready for sending to the association’s selling agents.
