COSTAL“WIZARD” SMITH IN SYDNEY
United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, May 17. Mr Norman Smith received a cordial welcome home by many friends upon his arrival on board the Zealandia today. In an interview he said that he was confident of breaking the record upon his return to New Zealand at the end of the 3'ear. “I have not lost faith in the beach,” he said. ‘‘There is none in the world to compare with it.” He expressed grateful appreciation of the hospitality accorded him during his stay in New Zealand.
