Two Men Charged with Theft. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, May 17. Two men arrived under police escort by the Marama from Sydney this afternoon and later appeared before Mr F. K. Hunt, S.M., at the Police Court. The men, who were brought from Sydney by Chief-Detective Hammond, were Reginald Clarence Williams, alias Reader, aged thirty-si.c years, and Clifford Spencer Dahlin, aged thirty-one years. Both were charged with stealing £I2OO from George Montague Poy tier, at Whangarei, on August 21. Accused were remanded to appear at Whangarei on Tuesday.
