KAIAPOI COURT.
Civil Cases Dealt With This Morning. At the Kaiapoi Magistrate’s Court this morning, before Mr E. D. Mosley, S.M., judgment for plaintiff by default was given in the following cases:—T. K. Hickenbotham v. T. Whitau, £1 19s; same v. R. Crofts, £5 5s 9d; same v. P. Wereta, £6 14s 6d; Kaiapoi Supply Stores v. M. Townsend, £2 2s; R. and W. G. Wylie v. H. E. Anderson, £lO 14s 6d: Kaiapoi Borough Council v. D. W. Williams, £1 9s 7d; same v. Joseph Baker, £2 19s 2d; M. Ramsay v. L. Giles, £4 4s; E. M. Howard v. S. D. Wilson, £3 9s 7d. C. Gray was ordered to pay H. F. Healey the sum of £l6 14s forthwith, in default sixteen days’ imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended as long as the defendant pays 10s a week.
