RUGBY FOOTBALL.
Albion Club Makes Start for New Season. The annual meeting of the Albion Rugbv Football Club was held last evening, Mr R. W. Britton presiding over an attendance of one hundred members. The chairman stated that the coming season promised to be a good one for the club. It was decided to support the suggestion to use the 3-2-3 scrum formation for two Saturdays. A medal was presented to R. Clarke, the most improved junior player last season. It was decided to open the season on April 9. ,4.1 The following officers were elected: — Patron, Mr S. F. Wilson; president, Mr R. W. ’Britton; vice-presidents, Messrs T. Johnston, J. Steele, J. Wallace, J. Bryce, H. Caulfield, W. Whitham, R. R. Masters, F. O. Schmidt and O. H. Oakley; club captain, Mr W. Chapman; secretary, Mr D. Finnegan; treasurer, Mr W. Sweeney; custodian, Mr J. Beattie; auditors, Messrs W. Whitham and A. Lilburne; delegates to C.R.F.U., Messrs R. W. Britton, R. R. Masters and W Whitham; committee, Messrs A. Saunders, W. Thompson, R. Thompson, T Preston, C. White, R. Calder, R. Miller, C. Collins and J. Middleton.
