DISAPPOINTING RESULT.
Collection at Community Dancing.
Small coins predominated in the collection taken up at the community dancing in Cranmer Square last evening, the total amount received, £ls 10s 6d, being disappointingly small, considering the large number of people present. When the collection boxes were opened this morning it was found that they contained 120 halfpennies, 540 pennies, 400 threepences and 201 sixpences. Shillings and larger silver coins constituted £3 of the total of £ls 10s 6d.
