AERIAL DERBY.
Christchurch Pilot Wins at
New Plymouth. Per Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, March 5. The aviation carnival was concluded at New Plymouth on Saturday evening. Two thousand spectators witnessed the Taranaki Aerial Derby, of three miles and a half, which was won by M. Myhre (Christchurch) from from N. Isaac (New Plymouth). The aerodrome, the freehold rights of which were recently acquired by the Aero Club, was officially opened by Mr G. M. Spence, president of the New Plymouth and New Zealand Aero Clubs. ‘
