LATE MRS FLORA M’RAE
Funeral Takes Place at Lyttelton. The funeral of the late Mrs Flora Ann M’Rae took place at the Public Cemetery, Lyttelton, on Friday last. The service at the graveside was conducted by the Rev J. Tylee, of Lyttelton. The late Mrs M’Rae was the widow of the late Donald M’Rae, who predeceased her twenty-five years ago. A former resident of Lyttelton and Port Chalmers and daughter of the late Captain John M’Lennon, of Plorton, Scotland, Mrs M’Rae arrived in New Zealand in 1871. She leaves a grown-up family of three daughters, Mrs F. Taylor, Mrs J. Jarden, sen., Mrs W. Collingwood, and three sons, Duncan, Donald and Alexander M’Rae, and also twenty grandchildren. The late Mrs M’Rae’s six grandsons acted as pallbearers. The funeral was attended by many friends and relatives and many wreaths were received.
