HOTEL LICENSE TRANSFERS.
A quarterly meeting of the Christchurch Licensing Committee was held this morning. Present:—Messrs 11. A. Young, S.M. (chairman), G. E. Franklin, W. Dobbs, H. H. Wauchop, W. E. Simes and H. H. Holland. Transfers of the licenses of the following hotels were granted:—Club, from John Joseph Cotter to Alfred John Lawrence: Tattersall’s, from Arthur Rose to Daniel O’Donnell; Prince of Wales, from John Cranley Rex to James Ray wood Franks; Ro>-al, from Horace Lawton Dyer to Eric Basil Rawlings. Inspector Cameron said that there were no police objections to the transfers.
