FORGERY ALLEGED.
Aftermath of Totalisator Affair. DUNEDIN, March 7. An arrest has been made by the police in connection with the alleged totalisator ticket forgery- at Wingatui on Cup day. Robert Jolly', aged 62, was charged this morning that he attempted to get a totalisator clerk to act upon five £1 tickets, knowing that they were forgeries. lie was remanded on bail to appear on March 14.
