STORY OF TRUE LOVE.

“ Over the Hill ” is Latest Fox Drama. i James Dunn, w'ho is teamed with Sally Eilers in “ Over the Hill ”, the Fox drama which is now screening at the Regent Theatre, with Mae Marsh (who returns to the screen after an absence of twelve years) in the third featured role, was lx>rn in New York. After receiving his education at New Rochelle, New York, Dunn joined his lather in the brokerage business and later became a salesman. Several “ extra ” roles that he played at the New York studios of Paramount turned his thoughts to the theatre, and he obtained a small part in the stage production, “ Night Stick While playing with Helen Morgan in “ Sweet Adeline ”, he was “ discovered ” by a Fox and rushed to Hollywood and immediately cast in the leading male I role of “ Bad Girl ”. Dunn is not married,/and lives with his mother in i HollyMjood. ! A drama that takes love from the j cradle to old age and deals with many ! of its important manifestations—that is J “ Over the Hill.” The love of a man j for a maid, the love of a mother for her child; that of brother and brother, father and son, all have their place in this romantic story of a human heart ! The central story itself is two-fold, | telling the boy and girl romance bei tween James Dunn and Sally Eilers, j a romance that is said to exceed in I heart touching appeal their previous magnificent portrayals and the mother and son tie that binds Dunn to “ Ma," the character played by Mae Marsh. Based on Will Carleton’s classic poems, the theme of “ Over the Hill ” is as true to-day as when it was originally written. In addition to James Sally Eilers and Mae Marsh, a hand picked cast includes Edward Crandall, Claire Maynard, Olin Howland, William Pawley and Joan Peers. In the prologue of the picture are a number of Hollywood’s most capable juveniles. May Return to Stage. Ina Claire is planning to go back to the stage. At the moment she cannot find a suitable play, but has gone as far in her search as Budapest—to inspect a comedy called “ Angel,” now current there, which, if it appeals to her, she will perform in America. Playing in “ Follies.” Charles Rogers is now appearing with Florenz Ziegfeld’s “ Follies.” Rogers is also fulfilling a contract under which he conducts a broadcasting jazz band. Three Red heads. I Nancy Carroll, Peggy Shannon and | Wynne Gibson are the only red-heads | under contract to Paramount.
