North Beach Surf Club’s Competition. The surf life saving competition post-
poned from last Sunday week will b< held to-morrow at New Brighton. Tin chief event will be the Ray Blank Cuj competition, a seven-men alarm rescue This event also decides the inter borough life-saving competition btetweer Sumner and New Brighton. The North Beach team will be: A. T Dalton, C. R. Riordan, V. G. Spiller, J O. Hattersley, A. L. Taylor, D. H. Symeg and J. M’Donald (patient).
For the Sumner Cup, a four-men alarm rescue with ballot for places, the team will be: R. R. Riordan, A. T. Dalton. I> H. Symes and A. Taylor (subject). Tine* Benson Shield is a seven-mei rescue for boys under seventeen. Theri is no ballot for places. The North Beaelteam will be: R. Blake (support), N Breward (belt). W. Hamilton (reel), J Hamilton, M. Price, A. M’Donald (linesmen) and L. Lake (subject).
