Sale of Radio Stations to Government. MATTER FOR ARBITRATION. (Special to the “ Star.”) WELLINGTON, December 21. Negotiations between the Government and the Radio Broadcasting Company regarding the terms for the acquisition of the company’s stations and equipment have reached a stage at which it has been decided to refer the matter to arbitration, in accordance with the terms of the Broadcasting Act, in view of the failure to mutually agree upon a figure for the purchase of the company’s assets.
