JACKIE COOGAN COMING.

Jackie Coogan as Tom Sawyer and Junior Durkin as Huck Finn are back on the screen again in Paramount’s delightful picture of the most famous of all Mark Twais’s stories, the immortal “ Huckleberry Finn.” And in this gay entertainment coming to the Civic Theatre on Christmas Eve, Jackie Searl is again seen as “ the pesky tattletale,” Sidney; Mitzi Green once more portrays the demure, golden-haired Becky Thatcher; and that capable actress, Clara Blandick, who made Aunt Polly a living, breathing image of Mark Twain’s conception, again makes this role her own. And in addition to these characters whom you enjoyed in “ Tom Sawyer,” there is Eugene Fallette as the “king,” Oscar Apfel as the “duke,” and Clarence Muse as the negro slave, Jim—characterisations which help to make “ Huckleberry Finn ” the truly great story it is. In many ways a superior story to “ Tom Sawyer,” the picture itself reveals this slight difference in the spontaneity of its humour, the briskness of its dialogue and the exciting quality of its fast-paced adventure. So that if one found '* Tom Sawyer ” a rare and delightful entertainment treat, “ Huckleberry Finn ” is sure to exceed one’s fondest expectations.
