WAR IN MANCHURIA.
Japanese Launch Aerial Attack. 10,000 CHINESE ADVANCING. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received December 21, 10 a.m.) TOKIO, December 20. It is reported that fighting commenced in the evening with a Japanese aerial attack, pending the arrival of troops. The opposing 10,000 Chinese regulars are. moving up to attack Mukden, which is held by the Japanese. JAPAN BANS BANDITS. TOKIO, December 19. Chinchow reports indicate increasing gravity in the situation in Manchuria. Naval forces in North China are being kept in readiness to land. Fighting on a large scale is expected hourly, the Japanese having ordered the area to be cleared of bandits. The Chinese main army has withdrawn to Lanchow.
