ALL PARTIES HOPEFUL.
Federal Election Campaign Ended. United Press Assn. —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. MELBOURNE, December 17. Anti-Labour election campaigners express the opinion that Labour will lose at least five of its eleven seats in Victoria. Mr Bruce is practically certain to regain Flinders by a large majority. It is expected that Labour will lose two seats in South Australia, one in Western Australia and at least six in New South Wales, but there will possibly be no change in Queensland. Mr Scullin predicts that official Labour will more than hold its own. He has every confidence that they will win five additional seats.
The Beasley group hopes to retain all its present seats and gain two from Mr Scullin’s party.
