Police Definitely Suspect Coulton. MOVEMENTS TRACED. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, December 19. Developments in the investigation of the murder of Mr A. J. Blomfield, the chemist who was brutally attacked in a shop in Wellesley Street on October 30, have strengthened the suspicions of the police that the assailant was Oswald Laurence Coulton, who was shot dead while attempting to rob a bank at Remuera. Coulton has now been definitely identified as the man who entered a fish shop in Queen Street just prior to the murder and bought the parcel of fish and chips which was subsequently found in Blomfield’s shop, .subsequently found in Mr Blomfield’s shop.
