CHILD POISONED BY PILLS.
Per Press Association. GISBORNE, December 19. A verdict of death due to poisoning was returned by the Coroner at the inquest on the nine-month-old infant, Peter Denton, who died on November 29 as a result of taking pills. The Coroner, Mr P. H. Harper, said that he did not think that the child’s custodian, Mrs Evelyn Lister, could be blamed.
