(The 10.0 a.m. Christchurch-Grey-mouth and 10.18 a.m. GreymouthChristchurch mail trains will run.) TUESDAY, DECEMBER 22. LITTLE RIVER BRANCH. Ordinary timetable suspended. Special trains leave Christchurch for Little River 7.25 am. and 4.45 p.m., and Little River for | Christchurch 8.43 a.m. and 6.3 pm. TUESDAY, DECEMBER 22. THURSDAY, DECEMBER 24. NORTH LINE. Special trhin connecting with 7.48 am. Waikari-Christ-church train leaves Hawarden 7.39 am. Special train connecting with 4.37 p.m- Christchurch-Waikari train leaves Waikari for Hawarden at 7.5 p.m. THURSDAY, DECEMBER 24. LYTTELTON LINE. Special train for Lyttelton leaves Christchurch 11.45 p.m.. Returns leaving Lyttelton 12.10 am. (25th). NORTH LINE. Special train for Rangiora leaves Christchurch 10.30 p.m., arrives Rangiora 11.28 p.m. Returns leaving Rangiora 11.45 p.m., arrives Christchurch 12.54 a.m. (25th). LITTLE RIVER BRANCH. Special train for Little River leaves Christchurch 10.5 pm., arrives Little River 11.19 p.m. Return, train leaves Little River 11.24 p.m., arrives Christchurch 12.44 am. (25th). Read’s Junior Motors will NOT make connection with these trains.) CHRISTCHURCH—GREYMOUTH. Special train for Greymouth leaves Christchurch 10.15 p.m., arrives Greymouth 6.20 am. (25th). Special train for Christchurch leaves Greymouth 10.50 p.m., arrives Christchurch 7 JB am. (25th). FRIDAY, DECEMBER 25. Train service will be suspended with the following exceptions. LYTTELTON LINE. Trains will leave Christchurch 6.15 a.m., 9.0, 10.0, 11.0 am.. 1.0 p.m., 2.0, 2.55, 5.0, 6.0, 6.50, 7.37, 8.30 and 9.30 pm. These trains (except the 7.37 pm.) will stop at intermediate stations for passengers. The 6.50 pm. and 7.37 pm. trains will run on to ferry wharf. Trains will return from Lyttelton 12.10 am., 9.30, 10.25, 1125 am., 1.25 pm., 2.25, 4.10, 525, 6.25. 7.25, 8.35, 8.55 and 10.0 p.m. Usual ferry train for Christchurch will leave Lyttelton as soon as passengers are seated, and will stop at intermediate stations to set down passengers. NORTH LINE ANP CHEVIOT BRANCH. Usual 7.55 am. Christ-church-Parnassus and 2.32 p.m. Par-nassus-Christchurch trains will run, and will stop where required for passengers. Special train will leave Waipara 9.30 a.m., arrive Waiau 11.2 a.m., connects at Waipara with the 7.55 a.m. Christ-church-Parnassus train. Return train, connecting at Waipara with the 2.32 p.m. Parnassus-Christ-church train will leave Waiau 2.38 pm. CHRISTCHURCH DUNEDIN INVERCARGILL. The 8.35 a.m. Christ-church-Invercargill and 7.0 a.m. Inver-cargill-Lyttelton express trains will run. The 8.40 am. and 9.5 a.m. DunedinChristchurch and 9.10 am. and 1225 pm. Christchurch-Dun edin Mail and Express trains will run. ASHBURTON—DUNEDIN. Special train (ex Christchurch December 24) will leave Ashburton for Dunedin 12.14 am. Special passenger trains (ex Dunedin December 24) leave Ashburton 5.27 a.m. and 5.56 a.m., arrive Christchurch 7.12 am. and 7.18 am. respectively. CHRISTCHURCH OTIRA GREYMOUTH. The 10.0 am. Christ-church-Greymouth and 10.18 a.m. Grey-mouth-Christchurch Mail trains will run. Special train (ex Greymouth December 24) leaves Otira 2.15 a.m. and arrives Christchurch 7.8 am. Train for motor-cars will leave Springfield for Otira at 9.15 a.m. and Otira for Springfield at 1125 am. For special stops see Free Booklet. SATURDAY, DECEMBER 26. EXCURSION TO STEWART’S GULLY. GALA AT WAIKUKU BEACH. (Rangiora.) SPORTS AT OXFORD AND DOYLESTON. TROTTING RACES AT ASHBURTON. EXCURSION TO OTIRA. LYTTELTON LINE. Usual 6.49 am. Lyttelton-Christchurch train will NOT run. Special trains will leave Christchurch for Lyttelton 920 a.m., 9.45, 10.35 a.m. and 420 pm., and Lyttelton for Christchurch 9.45 am., 10.6, 11.0 a.m., 4.45 pm. and 6.45 p.m. If the weather is unfavourable the above special trains will NOT run. NORTH LINE and CHEVIOT BRANCH. Usual time-table will be suspended and only the following trains will run: 7.55 a.m. Christchurch to Parnassus. 9.24 am. Christchurch to Waiau. 9.40 am. special passenger Christchurch to Rangiora. 12.10 p.m. Christchurch to Rangiora. 5.17 p.m. Christchurch to Waikari. 11.5 pm. Christchurch to Rangiora. 7.55 a.m. Waikari to Christchurch. 7.40 a.m. and 120 p.m. Rangiora to Christchurch. 2.32 p.m. Parnassus to Christchurch. 2.38 p.m. Waiau to Christchurch. 6.f5 p.m. special passenger Rangiora to Christchurch. Clement’s Motors will connect at Rangiora with the 9.24 a.m. Christ-church-Rangiora train and will take passengers to Oxford sports. Returning, Clement’s Motors will leave Pearson Park, Oxford, at 5.0 p.m. and connect ; at Rangiora with the 6.15 pm. Rangi- j ora-Christchurch train. Special train, stopping where required for passengers, also at Stewart’s Gully to set down passengers, will leave Christchurch 9.40 am., Papanui 10.2 am., Kaiapoi 1026 a.m. and arrive Rangiora 10.43 a.m. Between Christchurch and Waipara the 7.55 a.m. train for Parnassus will stop where required to pick up passengers for the Cheviot Branch.
